About Eshab homestay

Eshab home stay welcomes you to our Bhutia (Sikkimese tribe) family home in Sribadam village, West Sikkim. Our aim is to emphasize ethnic, village, and responsible tourism with focus on the conservation and preservation of tribal traditions and architecture. Our guests will experience the Sikkimese hospitality through food and culture while enjoying the surrounding nature with lush green forests, cardamom fields and waterfalls. Our traditional tribal huts with double bed and ensuite bathroom with hot water will guarantee a memorable stay. We also have a triple room available. Our small library and hammocks will also help you to relax your mind.

Our eco-friendly and litter-free homestay follows the '3 'R'S' REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE. Many of the ingredients for our meals are organically produced in our farm and you are welcome to observe and participate in our farm activities. The food served is traditional Sikkimese; cowrie (a warming winter soup with wheat shells), momos (dumplings) and gyathuk (meat or vegetable soup) to name a few. We can cater for non-vegetarian and vegetarian diets.

Through preserving and celebrating the old Sikkimese lifestyle our homestay is dedicated to provide an experience that differs from other homestays and hotels. Come to join us as our family member for a quick visit or stay for longer and truly relax and experience what Sikkimese people have to offer.
